My Story

I started my creative career in the performing arts. I travelled to different destinations around the world. I choreographed and danced within the contemporary dance style of the performing arts. During this time I made videography for dance and created my own TV series while living in Iceland. Little did I know that this experience was setting me up for my future. A future in wedding videography and photography. There came a time when my body struggled to keep up with the younger dancers. It was time for me to move on to new creative pastures. With a lot of self-reflection, I went searching for a passion to replace the career I had loved for so many years.

I worked as a business consultant in creative thinking. I also guest lectured at universities. But I felt that I had not yet found that magic something. So I took a chance picked up a camera again and started shooting business videography. My success in this area led to an offer to shoot a wedding. Honestly, there was a sense of hesitation. But to my surprise, this was what I had been searching for. It synced perfectly with my background in dance. Filming the bride and groom is like capturing the essence of a dance duet. There is a powerful intimacy that has a story unique to everyone. I became excited to creatively search for each newlywed's unique story. I wanted to capture their magic through the medium of videography and photography.​

You don't have to be a dancer to dance

Movement is in everything we do from speaking our words of love to the beating of our hearts. We are never still. Our interactions are in motion holding connecting like the twinkle in an eye, the sharing of a smile. There are couples that love the camera and others that are quieter but everyone has their story. It is this dynamic that I will find. I will create a wedding film that shows your love, full of cinematic motion and emotion.

My birth of wedding photography

The more wedding videos I shot the more the bride and groom asked for wedding photography. So I trained in photography. I wanted to tweak the different mindset from video to photography. Again the passion was extended into a new form of capturing a couple's love connection. Wedding photography and videography complement each other. I feel photography connects my years of painting. While videography connects to my years of working with movement. I find being in service of holding a couple's memory of their special day is a very rewarding way of living.

Wedding Filming Locations

I was born and grow up in North London, after dance training I lived in France, Germany, Belgium, Wales and Iceland. I returned to London but soon needed the countryside. This led me to settle in the Cotswolds based in Cheltenham. This means I can easily film weddings in Gloucestershire and the surrounding cities. Cities such as Bristol, Birmingham and Oxford. But having easy access to the M5 means I regularly shoot weddings in Plymouth and Devon.​

I am lucky to have relatives in Manchester and North London. This means I can film weddings in cities like Leeds, and Liverpool. And from London areas such as Cambridge and Kent. Also, I get the opportunity to catch up with my family. I have spent most of my professional life on the road. So whatever destination you would like me to capture your wedding, I will be there.
